About

TempraMed develops and commercializes sustainable energy products that provide 'Last Mile'
control and management to all injectable and temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals. By using a smart thermal shield that exchanges heat and energy with the environment, TempraMed provides years of temperature control without the need for any power source or any intervention, completely worry free and hassle free for years.

The TempraMed technology and products protected by several approved patents and patent
applications, are closing the existing gap in pharmaceutical temperature control and management from the pharmacy or hospital up to the end user. TempraMed’s technology incorporates ultra-high vacuum insulation at small dimensions key for
handheld portables, produced with innovative tools and unique manufacturing methods. Similar
insulation is integrated into the space industry and as catheters for medical cryogenic treatment. The insulation is combined with a unique heat exchanger based on Phase Change Material (PCM). Our special selection of PCM fits the temperature limits of the medication and the user handling. For medications that should not be exposed to temperatures higher than 86° F or 30 ° C, (such as insulin and EpiPen) the PCM is selected to be active and absorbing heat whenever the temperature is higher than 82.4° F or 28° C, and to spontaneously release the excess back into the environment whenever the ambient temperature is normal room temperature.
TempraMed’s first patented product, VIVI Cap 1; insulin temperature shield pen cap, is
scientifically validated, has FDA, CE and other regulatory registrations in place, is already on the market and used by tens of thousands worldwide. It is intended for use by the millions that inject insulin and carry it with them everyday, everywhere they go, exposing their insulin to temperatures that can cause degradation.
The VIVI Epi temperature protection for epinephrine has just been launched and is based on the same patented technology.

TempraMed has a complete pipeline of potential products that will provide a hassle-free solution to a variety of other medications and channels, including biologics, vaccines and dry freeze blood and plasma, among others. The technology can be applied for safe temperature control for transport of temperature sensitive medications to rural places and for keeping them protected during use.
