About

Our mission is to save the lives of orphaned pre-weaned kittens. Kittens under 8 weeks old are at high risk for euthanasia if surrendered to a shelter as they require a level of care that they are unable to provide. IBOK Rescue pulls pre-weaned kittens from local shelters and feral cat colonies and bottlefeeds them until they are old enough to eat on their own and be spayed/neutered and adopted into loving homes. Our goal is to provide loving foster homes where these "special needs" kittens can be given love, medical care, socialization, and attention that will ultimately lead to a successful adoption. We are actively involved in educating the public regarding spaying and neutering their pets and responsible animal guardianship. Our hope is to see the end of the routine euthanization of healthy adoptable animals for lack of homes.

We also work closely with other rescuers in an effort to reduce the growing population of feral cats in the South Bay through TNR (trapping, neutering and returning them to a natural and safe environment).
