About

New Wings Press was founded in 2019 by author Astrid V.J. to bring a new voice to the publishing scene. Most traditional publishing houses are so big, they lose sight of important social issues, while many alternative publishers focus mainly on the authors' backgrounds. New Wings Press has a primary focus on publishing work directed at minority populations in Western societies. We are all about providing popular literature towards inclusion.

Additionally, New Wings Press has a focus on environmental sustainability and ensures the production process is as environmentally friendly as possible. We are at the forefront of a new era in publishing practices. We aim to produce environmentally and socially sustainable literature for minority groups to help usher the publishing industry into the 21st century.

We want to promote authors and books that encourage others to reach for their dreams and to strive for a better world.

Literature shapes generations of children. At New Wings Press, we would like to shape a generation of environmentally conscious, socially aware youths who are tolerant of difference and know they have a place where they belong, where they are accepted. We want to bring inclusive literature to  marginalized groups.
