About

Hello. My name is Nancy Aborn Wuennemann. I am a licensed realtor in South Carolina and a member of the Coastal Carolina Realtors Association. I service veterans, retirees, families, vacation homeowners and investors.

My home state is New Hampshire and I was raised just outside of Boston. For most of my career, I worked inside different television newsrooms throughout New England as a weathercaster and on-air anchor/reporter. 14 of those years were spent in Connecticut.
The value I added in this profession was in my ability to be resourceful. I was responsible for producing daily live segments for news programs throughout the day. One of the career highlights I am most proud of is a segment called “Thursday’s Child.” Over 30 years later, I am in touch with a few of the kids, now adults, who were featured on the program for adoption or foster parenting. Another highlight was my nomination for a New England Emmy Award for hosting and producing a half hour environmental program called “Watching Your Waste.” Back in the day, it was a “Big Deal” to beat Wheel of Fortune in the ratings time period. Image that!

Prior to earning my license as a South Carolina realtor, I worked as Executive Producer of American Lifestyle TV, featuring positive lifestyle stories from across America – for realtors!
In 2017, my husband and I decided it was time for a latitude change and chose to invest in a retirement property on the sunny shores of the Myrtle Beach/Grand Strand area.

My interests and passion to help others drove me to become a licensed Realtor servicing Georgetown and Horry counties. Oddly enough, my skills as a reporter and producer relate very well to the processes of buying and selling real estate. I am a hunter. I specialize in “Compound Transactions.” I assist families with selling their current home AND purchasing a new home in South Carolina.

My knowledge extends beyond the transaction of buying or listing a home. We may work together anywhere from one to three years before a move is made. De-Cluttering and downsizing are a specialty of mine. I also set you up with mortgage assistance early in the process to streamline the business of moving from a financial aspect. If I cannot personally list your home, my vast referral network is put to good use and I will find you the RIGHT agent for your situation.

Buying and selling real estate is a process that has its complications. I use my developed skills from my previous career to streamline this process for you. I take it as my primary responsibility to resolve any issues that may occur during the process of buying or selling your home to ensure your experience is a pleasant one.

The value I add as your realtor is not only my understanding of process and procedure, it is also my ability to leverage social media outlets in your favor to find you the perfect home or make as many people as possible realize you are selling the perfect home for them.

If you are thinking about a move, contact me. Whether it’s the Hammock Coast that you land or elsewhere, if you are looking to upsize or downsize your current home, please reach out and let my skills help you through the process.
