What we do
We advise on the full range of marine insurance (hull, cargo and energy) claims and on all forms of shipping contracts and related disputes. Our Admiralty team advises on maritime casualty planning, management, investigation and coordination, including collision, salvage, towage, total loss, wreck removal and oil pollution cases. Our commercial litigation/FD&D division has a thriving practice representing predominantly owners and their liability insurers in all manner of claims including charterparty disputes, piracy, confiscation claims and shipbuilding and repair disputes.
We also advise on debt recovery and defence, personal injury defence and non-marine recovery and defence.
As well as traditional ‘dry’ and ‘wet’ shipping and marine insurance legal and claims work, services are offered on an outsource basis, with C Solutions contracted to a number of insurance brokers and marine underwriters, as well as one of the world’s largest ship owning groups.
In addition to claims and consultancy services charged on a competitive hourly rate basis, we offer fixed fee and contingency charging structures - unique in the sector in which we operate.
